AI Fluency
Workshop
A hands-on, in-person facilitated session that helps a team use generative AI well in their day-to-day work. It’s designed for novice and intermediate users, and focuses on where AI helps, where it doesn’t, and how to use it without giving up quality or craft. The session runs about three hours for a group of roughly 15 to 30 people.

- Open Q&A
How it’s
customized
Prework survey:
The team completes a short survey on their familiarity with AI, the tools they’ve tried, how they use it now (or want to), and their biggest barriers and concerns. Results are shared back with the room at the start.
Level and depth:
Content is pitched to novice and intermediate users based on where the group actually stands.
Examples and tools:
Demos and exercises reflect the tools and work the team already uses or wants to use.
Balance of time:
More or less time on foundations versus hands-on work.
Q&A focus:
The team’s biggest concerns are addressed head-on.
Tailoring:
The session can be built for a specific discipline, such as designers or marketing, or for a mixed group.
Follow-up
sessions
Team- or role-specific deep dives:
Focused sessions for a single team or discipline, such as designers or marketing.
Advanced prompting:
Deeper techniques and repeatable prompts for common tasks.
AI SOPs:
Help drafting team SOPs for AI use.
AI champions program:
Train a few people inside the team to support their peers and keep momentum going.
Tool evaluation:
Help the team choose which tools fit their work, budget, and data policies.
Manager and leadership session:
How to set expectations, review AI-assisted work, and spot quality problems.
Refresher sessions:
A periodic update on what’s changed in the tools and how the team’s approach should change with it.

About the
facilitator
Wes Webb is Creative Director at Locomotion, a full-service creative agency in Nashville. Before that, at Asurion, he was placed on a special team shortly after ChatGPT launched, working with data scientists to test, train, and pilot a custom AI agent for call center tech support.
Once the agent was deployed, he saw the need for an internal AI adoption and education team that could lead workshops, initiate pilot programs, and develop new SOPs. He led workshops for QA, Instructional Design, Supply Chain, Copywriting/Comms, Media, and Management. Some of these pilots cut workflows from hours to minutes and helped ease fears and misunderstandings about AI.
That effort inspired these workshops, which he now brings to Locomotion’s clients, alongside applying the same approach to design, project management, and custom tools.
